China successfully launched the Tianlian 3-01 data relay satellite on July 29, 2026, aboard a Long March 7A rocket from the Wenchang Space Launch Site. Tianlian 3-01 is the first spacecraft in China's third-generation geostationary data relay satellite constellation, designed to support real-time communications between orbiting spacecraft, launch vehicles in flight, and ground control stations.
