NovΔ mAInd ("we", "us", "the Site") operates nova-maind.com. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and your rights under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. Data We Collect

• Newsletter — when you subscribe, we store your email address. Delivery is handled by MailerLite.
• Comments — the name and text you submit on articles, stored in our database (Supabase).
• Usage data — anonymised page views, browser type, and approximate region for traffic analysis. Our CDN (Cloudflare) may log your IP for security.
• Advertising — we use Google AdSense, which may set cookies to serve and measure ads (see section 4).

3. Why We Process It

• To send you the newsletter you requested (consent — Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
• To display and moderate comments (legitimate interest — Art. 6(1)(f)).
• To keep the Site secure and understand traffic (legitimate interest).
• To fund the Site through advertising: non-personalised ads rely on our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)); personalised ads are served only with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

4. Cookies & Google AdSense

Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to our Site and/or other sites on the Internet. Consent (EU/EEA visitors). Where required, advertising and analytics cookies are set only after you give consent through our cookie banner on your first visit. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via the cookie settings link in the page footer.

You may also opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of third-party vendor cookies at aboutads.info. You can manage cookies directly in your browser settings too.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the processors named above (MailerLite, Supabase, Cloudflare, Google) strictly to operate the Site. These providers may store data outside the EU under appropriate safeguards (e.g. Standard Contractual Clauses).

6. Retention

Newsletter emails are kept until you unsubscribe (via the link in every email). Comments remain until you or we remove them. Server and CDN log data (including IP addresses) is retained for up to 90 days for security and analytics, then deleted or anonymised.

7. Your Rights

Under GDPR you may request: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, and data portability. To exercise any right, email [email protected]. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (in Italy, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali). We respond to all requests within 30 days, as required by Art. 12(3) GDPR.

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
