The mission utilized SpaceX's reliable Falcon 9 rocket, lifting off precisely at 2:39 EDT. AST SpaceMobile, a company that aims to provide seamless cellular broadband connectivity from space, confirmed the successful deployment of the BlueBird 8, 9, and 10 satellites. These satellites are engineered to deliver peak data speeds of nearly 200 Mbps directly to standard smartphones, enabling functionalities such as voice, broadband data, and video services from orbit.
